Styling Squad Guidelines & Expectations
Participation Details
The upcoming training is designed to teach our young ladies how to style and maintain their own hair care. We will work in small groups assisting each squad member in washing, blow drying, detangling and flat ironing their own hair. Each squad member must be willing to wash and allow another member to wash their hair as well. We will go over maintenance routines, product knowledge and much more. We will be directly involved in the result while still allowing individual styling success.
The Volume Salon Experience
Our Volume Salon team will provide lunch from a local restaurant. Upon completion of this training, all squad members will receive a certificate of completion and have a chance to win $50.00 OFF a service of $100.00 or more from yaunnie. Also, each squad member will take home one pair of flatirons, a blow dryer and a few other helpful tools! After spending time with our professionals these ladies will know the secrets to maintaining their own healthy hair!
Attendance
Training is from 12:00pm to 4:00pm with two 15-minute breaks. Please be on time as once we close the door you will not be permitted in. This will allow our event to run on schedule. Please keep in mind that there will be no refunds if you are late. You will be able to sign up for the next session a few months later, no credits will be given. Hair must be washed and detangled 1-2 days prior and be free from excessive product. The outcome of the style you achieve will be the result, there will be no services provided by our professional team on this day. Parents or other family members will be contacted once training is over. There is no waiting area available during training
Attitude
Please come to your training with an open mind and always display kindness to others.
Photos, videos and post are not permitted during the training. Please do not take any photos of others with or without their permission while inside of Volume Salon.
Attire
Tennis shoes only
Relaxed fit clothing
No hoodies
No nice or new clothing
Personal Items
Please leave all valuables at home as we will not be responsible for lost or damaged belongings. Cell phones must be put away throughout the entire session except for 15-minute breaks.
Possible Product Allergies
If your child has any known allergies of any kind, please indicate this in the note section during registration. If you have any special request or concerns, please indicate this prior to training.
Policies & Guidelines
We want to be sure our squad members arrive with a positive attitude and willing to learn. We want them to have the understanding that this may take some time to perfect. Following the routines given will ultimately create long-term habits that will be beneficial. We ask that cell phones are put away and our thinking caps are ready to go.
Volume Salon reserves the right to decline an individual’s participation for necessary reasons. We are not responsible for unknown allergic reactions as disclosing this is imperative to our products use. The parent or guardian will be required to sign a liability waiver with no exceptions. Refusal to sign will result in non-participation. Classes are not refundable.
